RCA RecordsZAYN is back with what appears to be the first single from his long-awaited sophomore album, and it has an epic video as well.

“Let Me” was produced by MYKL, the duo who worked with ZAYN on his #1 hit, “Pillowtalk.” The romantic track finds the former One Direction member crooning, “Baby, let me be your man/So I can love you/and if you let me be your man/Then I’ll take care of you/For the rest of my life/For the rest of yours/For the rest of ours.”

The video is a sequel to “Dusk ‘Til Dawn,” his 2017 collabo with Sia, and you can hear a snippet of that song in the beginning of the clip, where ZAYN pulls up to a building in a taxi and walks in, carrying the mysterious briefcase from that song’s video.  He meets a crime boss, played by Steven Bauer, and makes arrangements for an exchange that night. He also eyes the boss’ beautiful girlfriend.

After making the exchange, ZAYN returns to the boss, and then we see flashes of him and the boss’ girlfriend getting romantic — it’s not clear if it’s a dream or a memory. Either way, the boss senses a spark between them and sends his goons to kick ZAYN’s butt, but our singing hero dispatches all of them with his super-spy fighting skills.

The boss then holds the girlfriend at gunpoint and threatens to shoot ZAYN, who freezes — until the girl knocks the gun out of the way, flips the boss to the floor and escapes.  The last shot is of them speeding off together in a cigarette boat, as we see the words “To be continued…”

No word on when we can expect ZAYN’s album.
