Terence Patrick ©2018 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. Christina Aguilera rode shotgun with James Corden Monday night on The Late, Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special. In addition to singing her hits, she also dished on her days as a child actress on the Mickey Mouse Club, when her co-stars were a pre-fame Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling.

“Ryan Gosling,” mused Corden. “Even then, at that age, could you find yourself getting lost in Ryan Gosling’s eyes?” Christina laughed and replied, “I think there were crushes but I wasn’t on the train!”

When Corden asked if she was “on the Timberlake train,” Christina stuttered and stammered as she attempted to explain that she and Britney both wanted Justin.

“There was a thing back then!” she laughed. “Oh my God, you’re going in!”

When James feigned ignorance of the situation, Christina simply said, “It was a good time.”

“Are we saying Timberlake was the main dude in the MMC?” Corden pressed. “He had swag, I have to say,” Christina admitted. “But I know Ryan, actually, pretty much, he did have a crush on Britney.”

“She must be regretting that,” cracked Corden. “No, she got Justin!” Christina argued. “It was like, they were a big ol’ couple!   “Oh, you’re right,” Corden said sarcastically. “That worked out wonderfully!

Christina and James also sang “Fighter,” “Beautiful,” “Genie in a Bottle” and “Dirrty,” featuring a rap from surprise guest Melissa McCarthy.
