Thanks to Live Nation’s National Concert Week promotion, now through May 8, you can snag $20 tickets to the summer’s biggest tours, including Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart & Cyndi Lauper, Hall & Oates & Train, Lindsey Stirling & Evanescence and Counting Crows & LIVE. Counting Crows’ frontman Adam Duritz approves of the idea.

“I think tickets are expensive — [there’s] nothing wrong with giving people a deal,” Adam tells ABC Radio. “I’m sure this works out for everyone.” Meanwhile, Lindsey Stirling says the deal will keep fans from the disappointment she experienced as a kid.

“I remember I missed the Backstreet Boys and ‘NSYNC when they came through ’cause I couldn’t afford it!” she tells ABC Radio. “If it was $20, I guess I would’ve gone!”

What to expect for your $20?  Well, Counting Crows’ tour is called 25 Years and Counting, as 2018 marks 25 years since the release of their hit debut album August and Everything After.  But Adam says that’s not the tour’s focus.

“We’re not really celebrating the anniversary of [the debut album],” he explains. “We’re just celebrating…25 years of music. I wouldn’t have approved celebrating that one record. I don’t care that much. It’s just this thing we did a while ago.”

“I like it, and we play songs off it every night,” he says of the album, which features the smash single “Mr. Jones.” “But I love every record we have, so I’m not really into obsessing over that one.”

Lindsey’s tour with Evanescence, meanwhile, isn’t as usual a pairing as it may seem: Lindsey plays on the latest album by the “Bring Me to Life” hitmakers.

“The reaction of the fans was…’You need to go on tour together!'” she laughs. “So it’s almost by request that we’re doing this!”
