Paul Drinkwater/NBCLast year, the Song of the Summer was “Despacito.”  Now, as Memorial Day 2018 is upon us, it’s time to consider this year’s contenders.  The folks at Spotify have put together a list of likely candidates, based on buzz, momentum, playlisting, chart performance or just whether or not they’d sound really great at a beach or poolside.

According to Spotify, the #1 prediction for Song of the Summer is Cardi B’s “I Like It,” featuring Latin stars J Balvin and Bad Bunny.  But the list also includes “One Kiss,” the new collabo from Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris, as well as Anne-Marie’s “2002,” co-written by Ed Sheeran

Also on the list: “Sangria Wine,” from Camila Cabello and Pharrell Williams, and Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry.”  Both songs just got big sales boosts from their performances on Sunday’s BillboardMusic Awards.

Other tracks on Spotify’s list include “Solo,” Demi Lovato‘s new track with Clean Bandit, and “Youth,” Shawn Mendes‘ duet with Khalid.  Also making the list are current chart-toppers like Drake‘s “Nice for What” and Childish Gambino‘s “This Is America.”
