Despite all appearances to the contrary — including a high-profile joint red carpet appearance at the Met Gala earlier this month — Shawn is not dating Hailey Baldwin. Speaking to the Times of London, the model says, “We hang out and he’s super-lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman. But I am single.”
She adds, “The dating pool is small. It’s rare to find somebody that has the same ideas and morals as me.”
It appears that Hailey and Shawn are on the same page as far as their relationship status; he told E! Online not long ago that he’s single as well.
He did say that he enjoyed going to the Met Gala with her, but not because they’re a couple. As he told E!, “She was forcing me to get up and talk to people I would have been terrified to speak to or say hi to so I got to meet so many cool people because of her. She’s super special, so sweet.”
