ABC/Adam TaylorLady Gaga teamed up with hit-making songwriter Diane Warren in 2015 for the powerful ballad “Til It Happens to You,” from the documentary The Hunting Ground.  It went on to win an Emmy and earn an Oscar nomination. Now, Warren says she’s created a new track with Gaga, which we’ll hear sometime this year.

Speaking to the British publication Music Week, Warren says, “I wrote something with Lady Gaga that’s coming this year.”  The usually-reliable fan site Gaga Daily further reports that the “something” is a song for the soundtrack of Gaga’s film debut, A Star Is Born, which is hitting theaters in October.

The site describes the track as a “massive power ballad,” which is something of a Diane Warren specialty.  Among the hit power ballads she’s written for movie soundtracks: Celine Dion‘s “Because You Loved Me,” Aerosmith‘s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” LeAnn Rimes‘ “How Do I Live,” Faith Hill‘s “There You’ll Be,” and Gloria Estefan‘s “Music of My Heart.”

Gaga’s also working on new music.  Earlier this week, she was spotted in the studio with Tony Bennett and last month, she was photographed in the studio with Justin Tranter, a longtime friend and collaborator who’s since become one of pop music’s hottest songwriters.
