The singer posted a video clip of herself singing an a cappella snippet of a song called “Raindrops” off her upcoming album, Sweetener. The camera starts filming Ariana upside down and slowly turns right-side up as she belts out the song while sitting on a seemingly endless staircase.
“When raindrops fell down from the sky the day you left me, an angel cried,” she sings.
Yesterday, she hinted that she’d be releasing another album tease for her birthday and that it would be the last one before the album is released.
“i know we’re not really doing snippets but i do wanna give u sum special for my birthday if that’s ok ….” she wrote. “might post it tonight . i promise this’ll be the last of it.”
Sweetener comes out August 17.
