Images Press/Getty ImagesMadonna appeared on the very first MTV Video Music Awards, singing “Like a Virgin” while rolling seductively around on the floor of New York’s Radio City Music Hall in a bustier/wedding gown outfit.  So it’s only fitting that the 60-year-old pop icon be present at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall.

MTV tweeted, “Excited to announce that @Madonna will be presenting the biggest award of the night…Video of the Year!”

The artists nominated for Video of the Year include Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, Beyonce and husband JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, and Drake.

Over the years, Madonna has won 20 MTV VMAs, including the Video Vanguard Award.  Jennifer Lopez will be presented with award tonight.

Another iconic act is rumored to be closing the show: Aerosmith.

The MTV VMAs air live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
