Kevin Winter/Getty Images for TASIf your invitation to Taylor Swift‘s New Year’s Eve bash got lost in the mail, don’t worry: She’s shared some photos of the costume party online — including her dressed as Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid.
“This new year we decided to dress up as our childhood heroes,” Taylor writes, explaining the party’s theme. She adds, “Sending you all love and hope going into 2019.”
There are four photos in all, the first featuring various members of Taylor’s Girl squad dressed, as Taylor writes, as “Mary Poppins, Audrey, Ariel, Ms. Frizzle, Cinderella, Gwen, Mr. Toad, Avril, Nancy Drew, Posh Spice, Rizzo, Frida Kahlo, Steve Irwin, [and] Dorothy.”
You and your friends can have fun figuring out who’s dressed as whom, but not only was Blake Lively there, dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, but her husband, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, was there as well. The final photo shows him, dressed in a gray suit with the tie loose, sitting at a table next to Taylor as they both pretend to take swigs from huge bottles of alcohol.
As for her costume, Taylor’s nearly unrecognizable as Ariel from Disney’s 1989 animated classic film. She’s wearing a shiny green mermaid dress, complete with scales, as well as a bright red, waist-length wig and matching red lipstick. The finishing touch: a red rubber crab hanging from a chain around her neck. Poor Sebastian.
Not visible in any of the photos is Taylor’s boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn. It’s not known if he was at the party, although word is they two did spend Christmas together, and may have even rented a castle in ireland for the holiday.
Also no word if Taylor’s Reputation Stadium Tour special was playing around the house; it premiered on Netflix New Year’s Eve.
