Fans started freaking out when they noticed Shawn liked a photo of Hailey on Justin’s Instagram page. If you’ll remember, Shawn and Hailey were briefly linked last year and attended the Met Gala together.
But just weeks after the Met Gala, Hailey and Justin rekindled their romance and were married by September.
In November, Shawn admitted to Rolling Stone that he and Hailey had actually been “more than friends,” but wouldn’t admit to actually dating her. “I don’t even wanna put a title on it. I think it was more of a zone of limbo,” he explained.
Even so, don’t think Shawn was trying to stir up trouble with the “like.” Justin — in a comment captured by a Hailey fan account — wrote, “[They’re] just friends relax.”
