J.Lo and new fiancé Alex Rodriguez both shared photos from the Bahamas beach proposal on their Instagram pages Tuesday.
A-Rod posted a photo showing himself down on one knee as he places the enormous diamond sparkler on Jennifer’s finger. She stands in shock, with one hand over her mouth, as her peach-colored dress blows in the wind. “Locking it down,” A-Rod captioned the pic.
On her own page, J.Lo shared that photo along with several others, including a few of the two kissing post-proposal.
A-Rod also posted a message to fans on his Instagram Story Tuesday, writing, “There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy.”
He added, “We know there is work to do to keep building a family and future we can be proud of, and we can’t do it without all of you. We are so thankful for all your messages of love and congratulations.”
The two got engaged on March 9. This will be A-Rod’s second marriage and Jennifer’s fourth.
