Today’s question: Prior to getting the name we use today, the big game was called the “AFL-NFL World Championship game,” but that didn’t roll off the tongue like “Super Bowl” does. So, in the 1960’s Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt set out to rebrand the game with a new name. It took months of brainstorming with nothing good coming to mind, until one day when he was playing with his children on the floor of the living room, the name Super Bowl jumped out at him and the rest is history. What inspired the name Super Bowl?
