Shock Collar Question – July 14

Alexis is wearing the Shock Collar this morning!

Today’s question: Back in 2005, a man named Takashi Hashiyama was selling his $20 million art collection, and two companies were vying for his business. Both Sotheby’s and Christy’s Auction House were willing to do almost anything to be able to list it, so Takashi put them to the test. If they really wanted the opportunity to be the sole seller of his art, they would have to engage in somewhat of a strange competition. Christie’s ended up winning the showdown, and made six figures just by selling his art. Today, I need you to tell me – what kind of contest did the auction houses compete in?
