On this day, back in 1990… the first episode of “The Simpsons” aired on FOX… and cartoons were never the same again.
This quirky, dysfunctional yellow family broke all the traditional rules of Television… with Smarter Jokes… Edgier Satire…. and loving depictions of Homer choking out his son.
It’s no wonder, the show’s been going strong for over 35 years.
