Join us Sunday, October 27 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs) and experience the documentation of Aretha Franklin’s live best-selling gospel album, “Amazing Grace”. Franklin’s performance spanned two nights in front of an adoring congregation at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church and included the Southern California Community Choir.

Former Atlantic producer, Allan Elliot, used digital technology to bring the film back to its historical glory. “Amazing Grace” is a celebration of life, music and the African-American community of that era.
