Tim met Sarah at a play. They smiled at each other politely, and Tim worked up the courage to sit next to her, but the seat next to her was taken. After returning to his seat, he noticed that no one actually sat in the seat all night. He worked up the courage again and this time she was welcoming, so he sat down next to her, and after the play they went to grab a bite to eat.
