However, they disappointed fans when the two tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony, denying spectators of a glitzy and glamorous wedding. Now, the couple will reportedly do things the traditional way on Monday for their second wedding.
Sources tell E! News that the Biebers threw a star-studded rehearsal dinner at the luxurious Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina on Sunday. The guest list included manager Scooter Braun, Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Justine Skye, and others.
The E! source spills, “Guests arrived by boat to the rehearsal dinner on the Palmetto property. There were several water taxis that took guests over around 6:30 p.m.”
The insider goes on, “The dinner was on the edge of the water and was outdoors. There were many string lights hanging and lit candles. Everyone was seated at long tables and the dècor was very chic and white.” Waiters also greeted guests with champagne as they filtered in.
The Biebers apparently arrived after most of the guests were seated and “could not stop smiling” for the rest of the celebration.
While there are no pictures of the rehearsal dinner floating around the internet, that might not be the case for the power couple’s big day.
The Monday wedding is rumored to be a religious ceremony at the same venue as the rehearsal dinner, a source close to the couple tells People.
After the couple says “I do” for a second time, the People insider claims the two will go off the grid to enjoy their honeymoon.
