Ryan SaradjolaHailee Steinfeld brings some “Colour” to the video for her new song with British singer/songwriter MNEK [eh-meh-NEE-kay].
The video begins with MNEK dressed in white, singing and dancing against a stark white background. He’s soon joined by a group of male dancers dressed in different-colored outfits.
When Hailee’s verse kicks in, the scene changes to a kingdom in the clouds ruled by Hailee, who’s dressed all in red with a matching red crown. MNEK joins her and the two host a rainbow-hued dance party until everything resets and MNEK lands back in the stark white room.
“Before you came into my life/Everything was black and white/Now all I see is colour,” they sing on the track.
Hailee opened for Katy Perry on the U.K. leg of her Witness: The Tour this month, and MNEK joined her for some dates to perform “Colour” live onstage.
MNEK has also worked with Beyonce, Madonna and Dua Lipa, and collaborated with Zara Larsson on the hit “Never Forget You. He’s set to release his debut album later this year.
