Atlantic RecordsEd Sheeran’s smash hit “Shape of You” was released in January of 2017 — and two years later, it’s still breaking records.

Forbes reports that the video for “Shape of You” has become just the second music video in history to hit four billion YouTube views, following “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which hit that milestone in 2017.

In the video for “Shape of You,” Ed trains for what we think is a boxing match, with help from a beautiful woman.  But when he finally faces his opponent, it’s a massive sumo wrestler, who proceeds to kick Ed’s butt. At the last minute, Ed’s girl leaps into the ring, aiming a kick right at the wrestler’s head. And…scene.

Currently, “Despacito” has a total close to six billion views, and is the most-viewed YouTube music video of all time; “Shape of You” is number two.

The next video that might hit the four billion mark is “See You Again,” by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa — it currently has 3.9 billion views and is YouTube’s third most popular clip.
