Today’s question: I predict that all of the radio hosts here in this room have never heard this next phrase before (partly because everyday I see a lot of stained sweatpants) but there’s a saying for when you’re looking sharp… it’s called “Dressed to the Nines.”
Thats right and today, we use it as slang for dressing up and looking good, but the phrase originated back in 19th century Europe. What did it mean back then when someone was “Dressed to the Nines?”
