The Fall Volksmarch at Crazy Horse Memorial® welcomes hikers of all ages to experience a unique woodlands walk. Hosted in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the event draws visitors to explore the work-in-progress mountain carving. You join thousands in a hike that leads you along dirt trails and gravel roads, reaching the Arm of Crazy Horse. Here, you enjoy a close view of the mountain face and the scale of this ongoing project.
Link your participation to community spirit by bringing canned food for the local care drive. Registration takes place on-site, inviting you to start the hike anytime in the morning. The path offers views not open to the public outside these hikes.
