Start your weekend off right with the soothing, tranquil sound of the harp. Fifteen-year-old Joelle Simpson graces the stage Thursday, January 24 at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street) from 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., with a collection of classical music for all to enjoy!
Simpson fell in love with the harp at age four, after attending a musical “petting zoo” with the Chamber Music Festival of the Black Hills. In hopes of deterring her from this notion, her parents tried to distract her with piano lessons. But after enduring three, long years of constant “harping” from Joelle, they relented. Having studied for five years, Simpson now shares her love of the harp at numerous events.
