POP Fest

September 3, 2022 @ 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

You will have a firsthand chance to listen to eclectric Indigenous musicians from the Great Plains area and around the Nation.

The entire line up is exquisite and each artist has their own flair that has people flocking to their shows around the Nation. For example: Mato Wayuhi is a 23-year-old South Dakota, Oglala Lakota artist and score composer, who is continuing to break barriers alongside the awardwinning team of Reservation Dogs produced by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi. Mato’s music has draws from pop, soul, funky, jazz, and hip-hop. And that is just one example of the talent coming to POP Fest!

Local artists include Nataanii Means, The Wake Singers, Spur Pourier, and Welby June. Regional artists are Levi Platero, Def-I, Liv the Artist, and Earth Surface People. Artists bio’s will be released on nativepop.org and Native POP social media outlets.
