Travis SchneiderAnother day, another Cardi B feature.

This time around, it’s Maroon 5 who’s getting the benefit of the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s talents.  Following online chatter that the two acts were working together, Maroon 5 tweeted, “Rumors are true. Our new single #GirlsLikeYou, ft. @iamcardib, is out tomorrow. Stay tuned for more!”

In recent years, Maroon 5 has made a habit of collaborating with rappers.  Since 2012, the group has featured Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa and Future on their singles.  The first single from their current album, Red Pill Blues, “What Lovers Do,” featured rising R&B star SZA.

Meanwhile, “Girls Like You” is the fourth record — other than her own — on which Cardi’s been featured this year, following Bruno Mars‘ “Finesse,” Rita Ora’s “Girls” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Dinero.”

Maroon 5 is kicking off their Red Pill Blues tour tonight in Tacoma, WA.
